How YPL Coffee Ships Worldwide: From Roastery to Cup

Take a behind-the-scenes journey into how your craft coffee travels from our roastery to your doorstep — always fresh, always responsibly delivered.

HOW?

Our shipping philosophy

At YPL Coffee, shipping is more than just moving boxes — it’s the final chapter in your coffee’s story. That’s why we’ve designed our global delivery system around three key values: reliability, sustainability, and traceability.

We believe that every batch we roast is a promise. Whether you’re ordering a few thousand custom capsules or scaling to millions of pieces, our fulfillment model is built to be responsive, transparent, and consistent. We never cut corners and never rush at the expense of quality.

From the moment your coffee is packaged, we treat it as a perishable work of craft. We choose packaging and logistics partners who share our values, use data to optimize delivery routes, and provide full visibility from our facility to your shelf. No mystery. No delay. Just your brand’s coffee, shipped right.

Packaging & Shipping

Create unique designs for your brand. We will package&ship ASAP.

From green beans to packaged coffee

Everything starts with our carefully selected green coffee beans. We source single-origin and blend varieties directly from trusted producers and certified farms around the globe.

Once the beans arrive at our processing facility in Pécs, Hungary, they’re immediately tested in our in-house coffee factory. We measure moisture content, bean density, and roast color using Agtron analysis to ensure consistency in every batch. From here, your coffee undergoes one or more of the following:

  • Roast-to-order production, tailored to your brand’s flavor profile.
  • Custom blending, including Arabica–Robusta mixes, decaf, or high-quality single origin coffees.
  • Infusion with flavors or nootropics, done post-roast for maximum aroma.
  • If needed, we grind for espresso, moka pot, filter, or capsule formats.

After roasting and grinding, the coffee is nitrogen-flushed and packaged — in Nespresso®-compatible capsules — using eco-certified materials. Each package is coded for full batch traceability, so we always know exactly where your product came from and where it’s going.

Exporting YPL Coffee

Shipping internationally from the heart of Europe is something we do daily. Our operations follow the FCA Incoterms 2020 standard, with all goods shipped out of our facility in Pécs. You’re welcome to handle logistics on your own — or we can provide a full export and shipping service through our partner network.

Sustainable packaging and transport

We don’t just roast sustainably — we ship sustainably too. Environmental impact matters in every decision we make, especially when it comes to packaging and logistics.

Here’s how we minimize waste while maximizing quality:

  • Home-compostable capsule options with TÜV OK Home Compost certification.
  • Recycled, industrial or compostable coffee bags.
  • Fully recyclable aluminum capsule formats using 80% recycled content.
  • Nitrogen flushing that extends our capsules freshness naturally, without preservatives.
  • Space-efficient box designs to reduce CO₂ emissions during freight.

Every material used — from the box your capsules ship in, to the tape that seals it — is chosen with purpose. We also work with FSC®-certified paper suppliers to ensure that our cardboard and cartons are sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Working with global logistics partners

YPL Coffee works with a tight network of trusted freight providers to get your product where it needs to be — reliably and on time.

For overseas shipments, we typically consolidate orders on export-ready pallets with EU-standard configurations. Depending on the order volume, these pallets may include bulk-packed capsules, boxed retail units, or bagged coffee with custom labeling. Each shipment is carefully prepared to optimize space and minimize handling risk during transit.

Need delivery via air freight or to coordinate a multi-stop distribution plan? We’re used to those too. No matter your destination — be it a café in Lisbon or a boutique hotel in Dubai — we’ll coordinate with our logistics partners to deliver with care.

How we handle orders and delivery timelines

We know timing is everything in coffee — from freshness to retail readiness. That’s why we operate on a fast, flexible fulfillment schedule.

Here’s what you can expect when working with us:

  • Standard production time is 3-4 weeks from order confirmation for quantities under 50,000 capsules.
  • Larger orders may require 4+ weeks, depending on your custom specifications.
  • Prototype development (including flavored or functional coffee variants) can take up to 6 months but is entirely optional.
  • Shipping and delivery timelines vary by destination, but our logistics partners provide real-time tracking for every shipment.

Once your order is ready, we notify you for pickup or coordinate shipping per our agreement. Delivery from our plant in Hungary to EU countries usually takes 5-9 business days. For overseas destinations, allow 2-3 weeks depending on customs and transit mode.

We’re here to make the logistics seamless, so you can focus on growing your brand.
